I was responsible for creating the complete graphics package for Contact Arena, a TV show and streaming series that explores the world of MMA and kickboxing. From the initial concept to the final material, I handled every aspect of the visual design, ensuring a cohesive and engaging visual identity for the show.

The process

Concept and Art Direction

I began by developing a visual concept that captured the intensity and excitement of MMA and kickboxing. The goal was to create a dynamic and immersive atmosphere that would resonate with fans and enhance the show's content. I focused on bold graphics, energetic motion, and a color palette that reflects the sport's adrenaline-fueled nature.

3D Design and Animation

Using Cinema 4D, I designed the scenes and animated 3D models for the main title sequence, setting the tone for each episode. I created backgrounds and visual elements that enhance the overall viewing experience, and I also incorporated atmospheric smoke effects crafted in Houdini to add depth and a cinematic touch to the visuals.

Post-Production

In Adobe After Effects, I refined the animations and integrated them seamlessly with the show's footage. This stage was crucial for polishing the graphics and ensuring they complemented the show's pacing and content.

Deliverables

The final graphics package included the title sequence, bumpers, lower thirds, transitions and custom backgrounds. Each element was designed to be cohesive and flexible, allowing for easy updates and modifications as the show evolves.

Collaboration

Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with the production team to align the visuals with the shows' objectives and audience expectations. The result is a comprehensive graphics package that elevates the viewing experience by providing engaging visuals that support the show's expert analysis and highlight reels.
