I was tasked with creating a 3D music video for FreeStay’s new song, which premiered live on TV.

The process

For this project, I created a video to showcase the creative process behind the 3D animation for FreeStay’s song. It captures the journey from the initial concept to the final adjustments, highlighting the challenges posed by tight deadlines and shifting plans. This is a behind-the-scenes look at how ideas were transformed into visuals for a live TV premiere.

Challenges

One of the key challenges was working with a very limited timeline. With only a few days to deliver a polished product, the creative and technical aspects needed to come together seamlessly.

Solution

To tackle these challenges, I created a rotating stage scene featuring a voodoo doll as the protagonist, integrating this lovable character into the video’s narrative. The client’s trust in my vision and creative approach was instrumental in bringing this concept to life, ensuring the visuals synchronized perfectly with the song’s mood.

Result

The final lyric video successfully premiered live on TV, earning positive feedback from both the audience and the client. The video’s subtle references to the lyrics and its alignment with the song’s mood helped enhance the performance, creating a memorable viewing experience.

Conclusion

This project offered a valuable experience in balancing creativity and technical demands under pressure. It highlighted the importance of clear communication and adaptability, ultimately leading to a result that fulfilled its purpose and resonated with its audience.
