Ronin of the Storm is a personal project
inspired by the graphic novel The Last Ronin.

The process

It started as a simple drawing, created purely for fun, but quickly evolved into this short animation. The dark and intense atmosphere of the original story served as the perfect backdrop for my short and fun creative exploration.

As I worked on the initial design, I realized how captivating it could be to bring the concept to life through animation. The challenge of translating the gritty, moody visuals into a dynamic and immersive experience was both exciting and creatively fulfilling.

Ultimately, Ronin of the Storm became more than just an experiment, even though it's just a very short tease, it's a tribute to the power of storytelling through art and animation.
